Sleep

As I lay myself down, ready to drift off to sleep, My senses keep me awake, tingling from the day's events. As I close my eyes, I see her face, glowing in my thoughts. Bringing my arms in, I feel her body within my embrace, so warm, so soft. In the silence of the night, I still hear her voice, sweet and beautiful. As I lay there, I can smell her fragrance, wonderfully refreashing. And in the moments before sleep whisks me away, I can taste her kiss on my tounge, sweet like nectar and honey. And as my body shuts down, and my mind settles, I can surely feel her spirit, sychronized with mine, countinuing it's endless waltz for eternity. The last conscience thought that enters my mind is this... I love you.
