While this world decays and festers in sin and suffering, we need to understand that we have the power within us through Jesus Christ to help others who may be suffering with sin, poverty, hopelessness, depression, homelessness, and more. The enemy is a devourer. He seeks to destroy all that is good. He lies, he steals, he cheats, and he deceives because we let him. We are soldiers in a battle against Satan and his demons and malevolent spirits, yet we allow the enemy to continue to seek and destroy. Do you not know that you have the power to defeat him? Do you not understand that by accepting Jesus as your personal savior and following His word that you are the mightiest soldier ever? Does the Word not say that no weapon formed against you shall prosper? (Isaiah 54:17) 

So why are you letting the enemy take power over you? Don't you know you have a power millions of times more powerful than him or his minions? As I have come to realize in my own life very recently, if you let the enemy convince you that you have no power against him, then you will not be able to combat the darts, arrows, bullets, and fists that fly against you. You have a mighty power inside you that is just waiting for you to unleash it against Satan's forces. You gained that power the moment you asked Jesus to come into your heart. You have the greatest army inside you, and all you need to do is deploy it. Your sword may sit by your bedside, or on a bookshelf. Maybe you have left that sword in your car, or even accidentally left it somewhere that you cannot remember. Even if you have misplaced it, it is not beyond your reach and you can still grasp it and wield that sword with devastating efficiency against the forces of evil. Pick up your sword, brothers and sisters of Christ. Brandish it with confidence and use it for the glory of God, for His kingdom is not of this world, yet it will always reign over this earth.

This year could be one of great revival, but unless we do our part to bring that revival, then we are allowing the enemy to infiltrate the lives of many who have yet to hear the Gospel. Do as you have been commanded to do by your Lord...spread the Gospel throughout the earth. Do it with a clear mind and loving heart, and seek the Lord for the direction that He wishes for you to take to bring the Word of God to those who need it most. You are never alone as a Christian, my wonderful brothers and sisters. You are never alone when you have Jesus in your heart.
