And Green Day has punk roots.[/quote] that\'s basically my point. they write songs with the utmost simplicity, but that doesn\'t mean they don\'t have good music. i don\'t like them very much, along with most all of the popular music today because the simple and catchy is not for me. and queen is not metal. i\'m sure that\'s not what you meant, but your syntax could mislead people.
