i really really really really disagree, except in one area, we must use wisdom in what we read, we weigh it with the bible, if it agrees with biblical principles and there are no conflicts, then why not? I get completely different meaning out of the verses you gave, in most of them you take the verse out of context and in some others they aren\'t even related to the topic you are talking about. I mean really, the Bible points us to a relationship with a real, speaking God. I have no problem reading books about what God has already taught other Christians, just as long as it doesn\'t conflict with the Scripture.
