Is it good to insist she goes to church or am I doing more harm than good?:S[/quote] at 17(the age i am now) you start wanting to have your own life and beliefs. some move away from their parents beliefs and get into bad things and learn the hard way. some move away from their parents beliefs and find Christ for themself. you as her mother, cant infuence her to do what she doesnt want to. at this age, kids are most hard-headed(i know because i am). if you force her, she will hate it, and if you havnt raised her well enough growing up, you probably cant to anything right now. friends are probably her biggest influence, other than God, who is the most essential influence. i rebelled from God when i was about 13 and got into alot of bad things. God had to break me down to nothing before i could start new. my parents really had no influence on my life, besides for me learning from their mistakes. i would say try to get her to go without forcing her, and if she wont listen to you at all, you might just have to let her go. but dont just let go and forget it. always be availible. thats about the best i can think of for that... but, im still in that hard-headed stage... so take my advice causiously.
