I've noticed there are quite a few who seem to know about old movies. Care to chat? What's your take on Musicals? Personally, I think they'll never make any movies as good as they did back then (I'm talking late 30's to mid-50's). Well, they've made a few good ones, I suppose; I guess my tastes just run to the old stuff. Cary Grant, Judy Garland, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, Humphrey Bogart ... I could go on forever. Musicals ... musicals took more time and talent than any other genre of film from a single actor. They had to be able to act, sing and dance well. To be able to pull it off convincingly had to have taken a lot of work - from actors, directors, choreographers...
