Why do ppl always blame guns for things. I mean, when someone gets shot, especially by accident, it's the gun's fault. A gun is just a tool. Ppl are trying to make guns illegal and that violates the Bill of Rights. If ppl would just take the time to learn proper gun saftey, maybe we wouldn't have this problem. I saw a video at school where a kid and his older sister were home alone. The kid was like 6 or something. He went into his parents house and the nightstand drawer was open, and the was a gun in it. He took it out and showed it to his sister and acidentaly squeezed the trigger, killing his sister. If the drawer had been shut and locked, the girl would still be alive. These are a few tips that might help. 1. Always check to see if the gun is loaded. 2. Always treat the gun as if it is loaded. (Even if it's not.) 3. Keep it in a safe place where children can't get to it. 4. Never point it at something unless you are going to shoot it. 5. Just because the safety's on doesn't mean that the gun can't fire. Y'all can probably guess that I was raised around guns. :whistle: Anybody agree/disagree?
