I love both these bands. Renascent also has the benefit of being Christian, so that\'s a huge plus. However, I can\'t help but be a LOG fan. The thing with Lamb of God is they are lost. I\'m not anyone to judge, but I think it\'s fair to bet they haven\'t yet found Christ. Still, I don\'t see them as being opposed to Christ or God. I could be wrong, as I haven\'t heard all their music, but let\'s talk about Laid to Rest specifically. I like the song, but it is a challenging one to figure out as far as the message is concerned. He seems to be singling out a person who is caught in their own deception and denial (and by the looks of it, they (the person LOG is talking to) seem to have spilled blood, though they may deny it). Through the course of the song, LOG has brought the person\'s deeds out into the open and condemned them into solitude, for they are \"better alone\" where they can sulk and \"adorn\" themselves (meaning is uncertain to me, probably just to sit and mentally implode with their own disturbing thoughts and methods). LOG also makes it very clear that no one will care when this person is lost to themselves (that\'s what all the \"who gives a f*ck\" is about). So, in conclusion, yes, not the MOST Christlike attitude around, but still, at least their aggression seems to be directed toward deceit and other such negative themes.
