Two things: 1. The fact that you have seen a movie does not mean that everyone else has as well, especially if it is a new movie. 2. Many people do not want to have endings and other crucial plot points spoiled for them before they get to see the film. All film discussion should therefore very cautiously avoid giving away the nature of such details. If you feel the need to mention or discuss a critical plot point ALWAYS ALWAYS MARK FOR SPOILERS. The way to do this is varied, but typically all you have to is place *SPOILERS* or SPOILER WARNING or some similar disclaimer before you begin the discussion, and preferably after (e.g. END SPOILERS) as well so that people know when they can resume reading. You may also want to provide some distance from the spoiler tag so that people can skim past it and not read it by accident with the rest of the paragraph, like so... I place the spoilers here. END SPOILERS see? (for those who are concerned, there are no actual spoilers in this topic). This is just common courtesy and should be practiced in ANY public forum where films or books are discussed. It's not so important with extremely classic films that everyone knows about (for instance, I think we all know Darth Vader's little secret from The Empire Strikes Back) but don't assume that just because a movie is a couple years old we've all seen it. It took me five or six years before I got around to watching The Sixth Sense, for instance, and by that time Fight Club and The Usual Suspects had already been ruined for me. Do us all a favor. Mark your ****ing spoilers. Thank you.
