Daniel Day Lewis has been the favorite for lead actor since before his film was even released. Ratatouille should take animated film, no contest. This is always the easiest category any time there is a Pixar movie in it. Art direction is up in the air. I'm hoping for Sweeney Todd myself. Though Atonement has nominations all over the place so I suppose it might pick up one or two somewhere. I'm actually a little surprised to see Juno on the ballot for best picture, but I'm pretty sure it won't win. No Country will almost certainly take either Best Picture or Best Director. Not sure which. Maybe both. And as much as I was so/so on the movie, if Transformers doesn't win for visual effects, it's complete crock.
