Gosh I am pissed... I had written a really long response and I got logged out because it took too long so it didnt post...!!!! well Iam going to remember what I posted Hebrews 7:27 27He has no day by day necessity, as [do each of these other] high priests, to offer sacrifice first of all for his own [personal] sins and then for those of the people, because He [met all the requirements] once for all when He brought Himself [as a sacrifice] which He offered up. Hebrews 9:12 12He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us). I know you are not sure about hebrews, so I will post more, but I want you to understand this. Saying that Jesus\'s sacrifice is equal to another animal\'s doesn\'t make sense. That means Jesus is worth the same as an animal. I know you see that that does not make sense. I am not God, but I do not think that God would have sent Jesus to die just so he could be a sacrifice equal to a lamb, or any other sacrifices the Jews did back then. Here are some more. 1 Peter 3:18 18For Christ [the Messiah Himself] died for sins once [a]for all, the Righteous for the unrighteous (the Just for the unjust, the Innocent for the guilty), that He might bring us to God. In His human body He was put to death, but He was made alive in the spirit, Matthew 20:28 28Just as the Son of Man came not to be waited on but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [the price paid to set them free]. I like this one because it shows that Jesus is a ransom for us to be free. We are not free, because we are bound by sin. The sacrifices of the Tanakh did not liberate us from it as we did not change, and we were still bound by sin. With Jesus we have the power to become a different person, change and stop being bound by sin. In Luke 23:45 It tells us that the veil dividing the Holy of Holies and from the Holy Place was broken. This is when Jesus died. This has a major significance, for the priest had to make a sacrifice before he could pass the veil, but now as there is no veil, there isn\'t anything that separated God from men, thus, we need no more sacrifices. Hebrews 9:12 12He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us). John 20:31 31But these are written (recorded) in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of God, and that through believing and cleaving to and trusting and relying upon Him you may have life through (in) His name [[a]through Who He is]. Acts 4:12 12And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved. That includes animals...:P Daniel 9:24 24Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem], to finish and put an end to transgression, to seal up and make full the measure of sin, to purge away and make expiation and reconciliation for sin, to bring in everlasting righteousness (permanent moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint a Holy of Holies. That part of Chapter 9 is talking about Jesus, not the antichrist. Jesus himself said he was going to establish a NEW covenant Luke 22:20 20In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, \"This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. That is all for now...
