Last Night I went out with my friends to go see Traitor. I thought it was alright. It was pretty long. It was about a guy who was born in a Muslim home playing chess with his dad. Alright, let me stop there for a sec. Chess. The Islamic religion teaches that chess is from Satan. So why are they playing it for? Anyway, back to the movie, later on in his life, he was trained to make explosives for terrorist bombings and then ended up in a prison in Yemen. He was asked to join the F.B.I. to work with them, since he knows everything there is to being a terrorist. But he rejected the request and escaped with his new friend that he made in that prison and then escaped in France. From then on, he made a union with a terrorist group and planned to move into the US to blow up all 50 travel buses at the same time in America. But the main guy, however, was only being a traitor to this terrorist group, and tries to make this as a complete failure. I truly thought that this was going to be like one of the Jason Borne movies, but it was different. Although, there was a little too much talking and only 23 minutes of action in a movie that was about 2 hours long. The language in this movie, they made the Muslims swear, which I thought was pretty bizzare to me. I did not even believe that they were allowed to swear. So let me get this straight, and see if I'm getting this right. They were to put a carpet on the floor to pray to their god (Allah), make suicide bombings, read from the Koran, not to eat pork, but to also swear like its a normal thing and play chess? Who was directing this movie? So let me just give my conclusion to this review: The action scenes were not bad, the ideas of this movie was kind of original, like the way how they got out prison, and smuggling bombs in America, showing of how Islamic terrorism is like today in the world, and the use of actors in this movie was great. Although, it was a little linear, less action scenes, and didn't get the Islamic religion right. Don't get me wrong, I'm against their religion. It's just that it didn't look right to me at all in this movie. The score to this movie: 3/5
