Deuteronomy 6:4 "Sh'ma, Yisra'el! ADONAI Eloheinu, ADONAI echad [Hear, Isra'el! ADONAI our God, ADONAI is one] The word used here is echad. Let's look at another verse. Genesis 2:24 This is why a man is to leave his father and mother and stick with his wife, and they are to be one flesh. The same word that is used in Deuteronomy is used in Genesis. "Echad" is used most often as a unified one, and sometimes as numeric oneness. The word for "solitary one" is "yachid." That word is never used in Scripture in reference to God. Echad also means multiple objects becoming one, or an assembly as one. Here's a few more verses for you. Note that "hen" "monos" and "bad" also mean unified one. # "Hear, O Israel!
