My best friend's dad, Jeff Kepner, is the FIRST MAN IN THE UNITED STATES TO RECIEVE A DOUBLE HAND TRANSPLANT!!!!!! As you may know, he already has his new hands. He is already able to move 3 fingers on his left hand! This may not seem like a big deal at all, but the fact that he can already move any of his fingers is a humongous success (and a thrill for the doctors.) I have been keeping in touch with his daughter, my best friend Jordan, and she says that he is doing extremely well! I don't know if he has already started the therapy to get his hands working or not, but if not then he should be starting very very soon. Please keep Jeff Kepner in your prayers. He is also the man who had his stepmother pass away. I talked about this unfortunate occurance in the Encouragement/ Prayer Needs section. It is titled "friend" if you want to check it out. But anyway, please keep Jeff Kepner and all of his family in your prayers. :)
