Some people take our freedom for granted...they dont realize how much of a blessed nation we are. We have freedom of speech and people speak out against our nation. People don't even put their hand over their heart during a baseball game anymore. Our forefathers died for our country, preserved God's word and built this nation under God. Our money has "In God We Trust" engraved on it and we see that everyday and just think of it as something normal but we don't realize how powerful the meaning behind it is. We should always trust in God no matter what. Democrats, Liberals, Independents, I don't care what political party you are we should all unite under God and not have so much hate for the other party, I turn on the news and see all of these complaints and no one realizes how hard maintaining a country is. I can't do everything at once that is why all Americans should do their part and not forget that we are not ruled by the president but by God! Freedom of speech is something we have as a democracy and people freely speak out against American everyday. Green Day for example always bashes our country and is anti-American and the only reason they get away with it is because they have "Freedom" and if this country were Russia or North Korea they would be beheaded on the spot for speaking against their country. We are so spoiled with freedoms and we are too blind to see what we have that other countries don't have and it makes me sick. There is nothing wrong with our forefathers establishment of this country; however, there is something wrong with the people of our country. Our flag is not just a flag, it symbolizes freedom, God, and our people who die for the country they love. Men and women who serve in our armed forces join the army on their own will and do it because they love our country, the President is not to blame for the troops fight the war on terror. We should be focused on the threat of terrorism and not the fact that their are troops dieing in the war, they love this country with all their heart and are serving this country because they want you to sleep safe at night and not worry about anything harming us. God is with our nation but He won't be if we continue to fail recognizing He is in control.
