Cricky!!! Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter died September 4, 2006 and they had his funeral the 16th in Australia. He was a great guy and always said his mission was to educate people. He also tried to show everyone that crocodiles were smart creatures but weren't all that bad. I really feel sorry for his kids. His daughter Bindi and son Bob were really young and his death will not be easy for them to get over Bindi is 8 and Bob is 2 about to be 3. How Bindi got her name was from one of Steve's dog's and a crocodile the name Bindi was from the croc. and her middle name Sue was from the dog. His son's name is Robert but they call him Bob but he was named after Steves dad. One thing he told to the newpaper was that Bindi was the reason he was put on the planet they always had a good time together. The news of his death spread across the nation fast. How he died was he was making a show with Bindi and a stingray was hidden in the sand. It came up amd the barb went strait through his chest. Terri and Steve were married in 1992 the year I was born. How they met was Terri's friend and her went to Australia and they went to the zoo there where Steve stays at a lot. Well Steve was doing a show with a crocodile and Terri walked by and saw him doing this he looked out in the audience and in a document he was doing said it was love at first sight. They also have a picture of when the first met. Not many people have a picture of the very first day the met. It's really hard to believe that he's dead now. He's always been a part of my life and many other's too. . We all hope Terri, Bob, Bindi, and baby Bob live a good life and will move on with life, but noone will ever forget what a great person he was.
