Well, the surgery went ok.  I actually healed pretty quickly.  A week later, my stomach was killing me.  We ended up going to the emergency room.  I was diagnosed with pancreatitis.  It was awful.  I stayed at the hospital for 5 days.  But, now it's over and hopefully for good!  I feel like I haven't had a summer!

Happy Summer

It has been 2 weeks since I had major back surgery.  I'm doing pretty good.  I had severe scholiosis due to radiation, so my spine looked like a C.  They put 2 metal rods in to hold my spine in place.  The pain isn't that bad anymore.  I just can't bend down and my muscles ache.  I'm still really glad I got it done.

Happy Memorial Day!  I finally got out of school on Friday.  YAY!  No more homeworK!  Another plus - next year I'll be a senior!!  I'm not sure I'm ready, to be honest.  It almost freaks me out!  I missed a couple years of "growing up" when I was diagnosed with cancer.  I just keep reminding myself to take it a day at a time.  I am excited, though.
