Deep, calming vocals blend beautifully with the Russian string quartet to create “Breathe,” a reflection on the power of God’s light to break through the darkness of hopelessness, fear, and despair. The song begins non-tempo, with strings, a melancholy cello and haunting church bell. This sad, ethereal mood quickly yields to the sweet, hope-filled tones of the violin echoing the lyric of longing to see God and the joy of being His children.
