Cathy Smith

Bio : My name is Cathy Smith. I am 66 and retired and married for 37 years. I have 3 grown sons, two that live outside the U.S and one in Texas. I worked for the State of Oregon and several schools in Oregon as an educational assistant, kindergarten aide, office clerk, office assistant and, finally secretary of a school I stayed with for 9 years before retiring. After 4. Years of staying home and cleaning house, traveling to visit family etc. my husband and I decided it was time to get the brain engaged again so we purchased an RV and decided to become Workampers ( working at RV campgrounds across the country) we landed our first job in Laramie. away and worked for 5 months. It really did challenge my brain and I loved meeting so many people from all over the country and across the world. We will be doing this again this year in South Dakota and I look forward to it. With all 3 children grown and far away, I can make myself useful and make friends too. I LOVE adventure. I have been a Christian for 40 years and, although the road has been filled with ups and downs I am so fortunate to have a Father in Heaven that chose me and watched over me and led me through a life that was (is) filled with His promise. I still run about 2-3 miles every day (except Sunday), eat right, don't drink and I get enough sleep to keep up with life. I don't know what the future holds but I know I have a Savior that has my best interest in His hands???
