Do you ever have those times when God asks you to do something and you don't really want to do it? One of those total Jonah moments when you say " Why in the heck should I do that"? Well that happened to me recently..... I kind of screwed up the date of an important appt. for my husband and as we drove home from the missed appt. , there was so much tension, no one said a thing. as I thought about many things I could say like...."how come I have to do everything for you"? or " when will you take responsiblity for your own things"? I heard God say to me " Say your sorry"............I was shocked that he would ask that of me and I struggled with it for more than an hour. Trying my best to be obedient to him I reluctantly did it and what an awesome outcome. My husband was very humble and said it wasn't my fault and he was bummed at himself. If I would have said what I wanted to say we would have been fighting for days probably. God is Good....can i get an Amen?! LOL
