Yesterday we got a half day at school. They didn't let us out early enough. :( Anyway. After I got home and ate a real meal, I got to go visit my friends at my old school. The unfortunate people had a whole day of school, and then some of them had to stay even longer for basketball practice. I had to stay the whole evening because Momma had to work.

Yesterday it rained like it hadn't rained all year. It was almost disasterous. Although the ground was very thankful 'cause it hadn't rained all summer. One of my friend's house got flooded. Her house had 4 in. of water on the base of her house. All the flooring had to be pulled out. Then today the wind blew all day. It was as if it was intent to get what leaves are left on the trees off.

I officially became a Beta member today! :) I didn't know anyone there. But that's ok. We only meet once a month. B. isn't home tonight! YES!! Tonight is all for me! Finally!

Today I got to school just in time, so I didn't go out in the courtyard. Well, I have been informed that K. Z. and M. were looking high and low throughout the courtyard trying to find me. M. even said that they started to cry. I don't really believe the last part, but his girlfriend said that they really did cry. I have no reason to doubt her, so, I don't. We got our new schedules today, for next semester, I have Biology (yuck) 1st, Civics 2nd, French I 3rd, either 2nd or 4th lunch, and Algebra I 4th. I do not have any friends in my future classes as far as I know. Its possible I might have a class with M. since we haven't gotten a chance to swap schedules, but I doubt it. He would either have to be in my Civics class, which I plan on changing, or Algebra I which mostly contains Mr. S's class from this semester. So, there's not much hope on that. I'll just have to make new friends.
