first, in Kenya there is some craziness going on because of the elections. there is a "stronger" tribe and a "weaker" tribe. well, someone from the "weaker" tribe was elected presedent, so the "stronger" tribe people are mad & are killing people. I know a pastor who lives in Kenya and he's from the weaker tribe. his wife, however, is from the stronger tribe so she's with her parents while he's building a new house (he was kicked out of the one he rented) so just pray for him, his family, and the church he's over. second, last night in youth group, my youth pastor got us all to play the "trust game". y'know, where somone falls backwards onto a lot of ppl who catch them. well, we had been falling off tables, which isn't such a big deal. but then, my youth pastor eyed a railing on the outside deck that is about 7 feet off the ground. he wanted us (the youth) to stand on the ground as he fell back onto us from the railing. well, we caught his feet, but there wasn't enough guys around where his head & body landed & he fell through. he's okay, but he said he "feels like crap" when I called him after church. third, I'm going on a mission trip to Peru this summer & I'm low on funds. yeah that fighting over there is NOT cool! i'll pray for that, your youth pastor, and that you can raise enough. my youth group is either going to chile or germany for our missions trip so if you can pray i raise enough, thatd be cool!
