Alright, so, straight to the point- at my school, we have a lot of clubs like Poetry Club and stuff and I'm part of the Christian Union there. They have a great Christian summer camp that I wanted to attend, because it just seemed really fun. My only problem is my Mother isn't willing to let me go, because she thinks I'm away from home enough (I go to boarding school, so I'm away 9/12 of the year) but each camp session-thing is only 1 week. I really want to go because I want to get closer to God and I want to meet other Christians who are really committed to God- Christian is a nearly extinct term in my area, and even most that claim they're Christian go around having sex with everyone in sight. Can anyone give me advice on how to get my Mother to just let me go? Please and thank you!! ~ jeter4prez ~

Let your mother know what it means to you and pray about it, but remember to honor her wishes, whatever they may be.
