this band goes up and down with me. i never really realized that they were actually kind of popular until a few people told me they've seen them on mtv. don't let that fool you, they're actually pretty good. they are a death/thrash/epic metal band. i would consider them a gateway band, since they're not as impressive as other bands in the genre. normally death metal has insane drums with extremely fast tempos... they only do a few blast beats here and there, and are not normally fast. they are also just easy to listen to if you're getting in to death metal. their lyrical theme is about a lot of norse lore and viking battles and such. check them out. http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=150
