So yeah. Some of you may know that my girlfriend's (who many of you have spoken with on here or in xatchat) dad had colorectal cancer a while back. After some chemotherapy, about half a year ago, it appeared that he had it beat. As it turns out, not only has it returned, but it has spread. I'm fuzzy on a lot of the details, but he's going through chemo again, and no matter what happens, he's going to be on it for the rest of his life...it's just a matter of how long that is. He's a really, really cool guy and all prayers for his health and his family are appreciated more than I can express.

I understand what you're going through. I've posted on here before about my cousin's wife that had breast cancer, and they thought she had gotten over it just when it spread to her brain, bones, and several vital organs. It's rough stuff. I'll add him to my prayer list. I'll also add you and the rest of the family because I know what it's like to see it happening.

Lord, let Thy will be to heal this man of the cancer. Give him a refua shlema (complete healing) speedily and soon. Let it be Thy will to give strength and courage to this man and his family and all who care for him. But if it not be Thy will to do so, may Thy mercy be great and Thy compassion overflowing on all who are called according to Thy purpose.
