I was meeting with my advisor for college today. She's a good friend of mine- my costume teacher, my advisor, and she's helping me get jobs and oppertunities that i know i couldn't do without her. Today, I was meeting with her about a project I am working on. She seemed a little distant, and when I asked what was going on, she told me that her mother (who she's been taking care of all semester) is having complications that require a major surgery- which she only has a 50% chance of living through. She is devastated, and is talking about "spending one last weekend with her mom before she dies." Please pray for her mother, and that she may make it safely through this surgery and re-gain her health.
