Circumcision of the Heart

Circumcise your heart and walk with God.

Be set apart, an heir of the Most High.

In all things seek the Lord’s guidance;

in all things pray to do His will.

"Moreover the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants,

to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.

Our Father has blessed us beyond measure,

given His only Son to redeem us.

We are no longer condemned; no longer sentenced to death.

So be thankful and follow His ways,

straying neither to the right nor left.

And be thankful in knowing that when you fail,

you are forgiven with unconditional mercy.

Serve the Lord your God with all your heart.

Cling to Him - hold Him close to the marrow of your life.

Place His commandments in the ark of your soul.

You have crossed the Jordan into the land of faith.

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land.

You will rest and grow strong.

You will gain in patience and kindness,

understanding and thoughtfulness.

For the Spirit will teach your spirit and you will be a new creation.

Love without conditions, giving without asking in return.

Peace in your heart, serenity in your soul.

This is the promise - this is the new path.

This is the miracle of everlasting life in Christ.
