how many people here have seen it? I thought it was the best movie i have seen this year, and even thought it had a chrisitan message in it. what do you guys think?

I really enjoyed the movie, and though it's not without its flaws it makes my top 10 for 2007. Will Smith does a good job, the art direction in the city is fantastic and the sound design is top notch as well. The movie made effective use of silence rather than commotion to create some truly palpable suspense sequences. Unfortunately it suffers from a weak third act and a compromised ending, and it's full of the kind of plot holes you only notice after you've finished watching. It had a better message than most major Hollywood productions, though I'm pretty sure it's not intentionally Christian.

i thought it was a really good movie!!! I LOVE WILL SMITH i wouldnt say it was like a christian mesage but deffently a very good message my two favorite parts were when 1 he was quoting shrek on the tv that the little boy was watching haha and 2nd when frank was outside and he was like frank what are you doing out here if your alive you need to tell me haha i liked the movie ALOT

I pretty much knew Sam was going to die from the beggining (it was the only thing he had left). oh, and another thought. I watched the movie the second time with my pastor, and he was talking about how the movie kinda portrayed the Apocalypse. In the Revelations it talks about the spreading of diseases and mass terror (the scene in which they are at the quarantine and they have to be scanned). Obviosly, we will not know what the apocalypse will look like, but i think it might look like that.

I really didn't care for the movie. 1. The zombies weren't human. THEY WERE CGI!!! What's up with that? 2. It just ended. He died, girl got the cure. World returns to happiness. Blech. Needed better writing. 3. I didn't really care for the acting. It didn't seem right. I would have thought that someone who hadn't had a conversation in so many years would just be able to almost easilt integrate back in with others.
