Who on here is a fan of the classic rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd and what are your favorite songs by them? Personally, my favorites are Simple Man, Sweet Home Alabama, Gimmie Three Steps, What's Your Name, and Freebird. I like them for their thought provoking lyrics and the quality in their music that seems to make people of all different backgrounds sit together in peace and harmony (I've seen a DVD with live concert footage from the 70s and 80s when Civil Rights was still somewhat an issue). I also like the guitar solos and catchy beat of their music. Also, they wrote the song that many consider to be the anthem of southern classic rock music (aka Sweet Home Alabama)...

I will agree that the guitar solos in Freebird are freaking AWESOME and I bet it would be hard to play it, since the guitarists in Lynyrd Skynyrd are really good! B)
