Missions Trip in Mexico

I am sixteen years old and I am about to enter college and I have wanted to go on a missions trip since I love community service. This trip was just so much more than I expected. I figured that I would go and help build an orphanage and minister to people in the evening. I think I got more out of this trip than the people we ministered to because God ministered to me in many ways. On my third night there there was a young boy that came up to us and said that he could hear the Devil speaking to him. This hurt my heart so bad to know that the devil would think that it is ok to try and claim someone so young. So we gathered around to start praying for this boy and I am not someone who generally prays out loud for people. However for the first time ever God came and spoke through he gave me words to pray for this boy. Then on our last night of ministry we were supposed to minister in a town square and we were kicked out for not having papers, which had appearantly the first time that this happened in the twelve years that they had been coming. So we had to move to another park but I believe that God led us there because there was one woman that at listening to our testimonies and watching our dramas that broke down. By the end of the night she came up to us wanting to give her life to Jesus. Every night there was a blessing to many to speak of but those two stood out to me. I cannot wait to go back next year. I am still on a spiritual high

Aren't mission trip great? My family has lead mission trips to Mexico every year since I was eight and I am now 16. The Lord teaches me something new every time I go.
