i hate emo screamo kinda music its NOT music!!!!!! all they do is scream!!!!!! do u agree or disagree

i just posted a thread about this. that my friend is indeed an incredibly ignorant accusation. There's guitar, drum, bass and keys (or synth.) so they don't sing like "normal" people, HOW IS IT NOT MUSIC! I'm okay if you don't like or find it distasteful but hxc music is absolutely not not music!

i did not mean that it wasnt music it just doesnt sound like it it all the the do is scream who likes that its supid would like to screaming people all DAY!!!:blink: (sorry if i offend any body_)

Anything that has screaming in their music (Linkin Park) really is downright horrible. Now doubt about it. And the amazing thing is that people, like my aunt, listens to it like crazy. I mean why do people listen to that stuff anyway? Even an "atheist" who listens to todays rock music can say that scream-o music sux. Thats why I don't listen to todays worldly music. it depends on the band you heard. there are some screamos that totally mess up everything and sound like puff but there are some that are just AWESOME in the area of muscial abilities.

I'm okay if you don't like or find it distasteful but hxc music is absolutely not not music![/quote] its true theres more than screaming, and that technically it is music, but i would argue that screamo/emo is more an auditory fashion statement than it is music. i cant find much beauty in it. the arrangements in this kind of music seem very minimal to me. its only what people expect to be there. here's a clean guitar intro. heres some strummed power chords. heres a riff in straight 8th notes with no bending. heres a one chord breakdown with a half time beat. emo's music is just like their pants. constricting. no butt, no soul, no originality.
