hi.my name is Jessica, i am a 15 year old gal from Northern Ohio....about a year ago i went to church for the first time...and was saved only a month after. i decided that,despite my background and how i was brought up, i wanted to give my life to Jesus...this didn't go so hott with the people around me...my paretns did not like that fact that i started ahnging outw tih all these people from my church.most of them are older than me..college and stuff...and i understand y they got scared. but they also would not tell me tak aboutGod because they thought my bible based church was trying to like, brainwash me. they think u just live ur life, and do not ask any higher power to help u...thats just how they were raised. but i know Jesus and i love Him! also, my friends that i used to hagn out with during my "none saved" years do not likemy new found life. they make fun of me and give me a hard time for having anything to do with it...sometimes i just wanna give up...any help?

hey...i suggest that you try to talk to your "nonsaved" friends and try to tell them about jesus...if that doesnt work then maybe you should just stop hanging out with them...all i have to say is keep it up...i know its hard but if youre living your life for him then you have no reason to fear, he will take care of ya...ill pray for you
