anyone like them besides me? who do you think was better david lee roth or sammy hagar? i liked sammy hagar better even though ive heard more of daves stuff

My dad used to listen to them a lot, so I've listened to their music quite a bit in the past too. I don't know who is better out of Roth or Hagar, but I think they are both really good!

Eddie van Halen was the childhood idol of a pastor friend of mine. Eddie greatly influenced his guitar playing. 'Course now, the pastor has taken more to piano than guitar, but he's still amazing.

i really like eruption and love comes walking in. theyre my favorites but i like you really got me, best of both worlds, hot for teacher, panama, intruder/(oh) pretty woman and a bunch more

I love Van Halen! My dad told me a funny story about when Van Halen came out to play at the Gorge one summer... XD

Oiy... it'll be censored... And I may mix up some of the band players cause my dad hasn't told the story in a while... (City names will also be left out) When Van Halen leaves the plane at --- airport, Sammy looks around and says, "Where the bleep are we?" When they arrive at the Gorge amphitheater, Sammy asks, "Where the bleep are we?" When the fans show up and the show gets started, Sammy has only one thing to say, "I BLEEPIN LOVE THIS PLACE! WE'RE COMIN BACK!" :laugh:
