?Thy Word is a lamp
unto my feet, and a light unto my path.? Psalm 119:105

In this world of deceit and temptations our feet are at a loss to find their
way in the darkness. The world's road of life is covered with much darkness
that hides the ruts and pitfalls, but God, in His infinite love for mankind
sent His word to light the way to go around and through the minefields of
Satan. His light for us is His Holy Word and He gives it free for the asking
and taking.

Dear Lord may we feast upon your truth every day
and not wander in the darkness.

In 1 Kings 19:9-15 God comes to the prophet
Elijah, not in the great strong, powerful wind, nor the earthquake and not in
fire, but in a still small voice. In the world when all our troubles seem to
surround us we need to get away to a quiet place and talk with God. We need to
tell Him all of our troubles and then listen for His delicate, whispering voice
to guide us. He speaks to our hearts in His gentleness because we are too frail
to withstand His powerful voice. God's gentle voice is more than powerful
enough to answer our pleas.
