I ask that my wife and myself be kept in prayer. With medical and dental bills increasing, and now student loans to repay, I have to take on a second part-time job. Pray the right one with the right hours comes.

For those of you who have been praying for Pam's and my friend, Joy Lacey, and her mother, June, I have this news. After some time in hospice, following weeks of mistreatment in a nursing home in Frazee, MN, June Lacey died on January 25th. We just got word last week. Joy is understandably devastated, regarding this as her worst loss. Keep her in prayer as well as she recovers from this loss.

Two family prayer requests. First, for the family of my uncle, Walt Myers, who's in hospice. Second, for my brother, Dan ( www.danielburow.com), who was today diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

Now, I ask for a family prayer request. My wife's uncle, Gordon Carlson, died at 3:08 AM on New Year's Eve. The memorial service will be held in Finley, ND in March. Pray that current family connections be strengthened at this time of loss, particularly for Pam's cousin, Arlan.

For those of you keeping Pam's and my friend, Joy Lacey, in prayer, I have some news. Her mother is not only all right, but is out of the abusive environment that was the Frazee Care Center. She's now in Minneapolis.

Keep my nephew in prayer, who's a serious alcoholic. He was getting his life together for a time, but just can't keep that bottle away from him. Pray the people and circumstances are put in his life that he'd turn away from booze for good.

Hello from the Land of Sky Blue Waters, all! Keep my wife's and my friend, Joy Lacey, and her mother, June, in prayer. June's had some terrible health issues that have put her in two hospitals and a nursing home. Now, she's on a ventilator, and that's the only thing keeping her alive, her blood pressure stable, and a high fever from coming back. Joy, who's an only child, has been there for her mother relentlessly. Pray that June's suffering won't last, and that Joy will be strengthened.

Asking for prayer warriors to pray for the spiritual well being for our grandchildren. The peer pressure is tremendous today. I pray for God to protect them from evil and temptation

More and more, it seems I have a friend or family member with a health issue or feelings of sadness and despair. I hope these scriptures give you comfort and peace today and always! "When I am sick, I will call the elders of the church to pray over me and anoint me with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make me well; the Lord will raise me up." James 5:15 "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me and I shall be saved, for You are my praise." Jeremiah 17:14

Please join me in praying for our young adults and older elementary age children. I am continually hearing about the struggles they are facing, including peer pressure and self hatred. They are exploring some dangerous, self destructing things. Let's pray for their constant protection and for their salvation!
