Getting late on Monday
9 p.m. and it's getting late on Monday, or maybe I am just getting older. You know, I used to think it was funny when my folks went to bed at 8... Close your eyes and say "Jesus" several times. You have just grown in Him. Spend 5 seconds at night saying His name. Growing in light. Spend 5 seconds with Him in the morning. You're shining brighter. God in you, the hope of glory.

It's late and God is good!
Spend a little time with Jesus in the morning and a little at night - can't tell the difference? That's all right. We walk by faith and not by sight. Jesus, you ask me to abide in You. Spending waking (and half-waking) moments with you in the morning seems to really make my day flow by. Thank You for being with me even though I cannot always tell. Thank You for challenges I don't want - and for the wanted changes they bring. Thank You for times of not knowing - and for always working these out for my good. Thank you Lord Jesus!
