Jesus Changes EVERYTHING just by His Appearing...
1 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12 instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. 14 He gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people for his own possession, eager to do good works.
15 Proclaim these things; encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.(Titus 2)
Good News for Gentiles...
34 Peter began to speak: ?Now I truly understand that God doesn?t show favoritism, 35 but in every nation the person who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
36 He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ?he is Lord of all. (Acts 10)
"Faith without works is dead as the body is dead without the spirit."
When scripture tells us we are not justified by our works but by faith, faith trusts Jesus who carries us through the work (John 15:1-8), and if we abide in Him and in His Word He will be faithful! When scripture says "We are saved by grace through Faith, not of works where we can boast" it means we are allowing Jesus' Words of Spirit, Truth, and Life, Jesus' Spirit, to work within us as we are being sanctified by the "Word" and not by our works. "Faith comes from Hearing , and Hearing through the Word of Christ."
This is How God works...
24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. 26 And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,
27 that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, 28 for
??In him we live and move and have our being?;
as even some of your own poets have said,
??For we are indeed his offspring.?
29 Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. 30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, 31 because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.? (Acts 17:24-31)
Jesus said,
37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.? (John 6:35-40)
16 When one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. 2 But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning nor distort God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For , with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, ?Let light shine out of darkness,? has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 3:16 to 2 Corinthians 4:6)
