Hey guys!!! How's it goin'?  I haven't talked to y'all in quite some time.  I know that all of my blogs have been pretty annoying.  I mean, there about nothing!!!  I doubt you guys really care about a dance at my school, or a TV show.  Well, now I've decided to write about something socially aware.  I'm going to talk about the Dalits in India.  You see, in India there's this thing called a caste system.  The people are split into different classes, or as India calls them, varna.  The Dalits are at the very bottom of this system.  Nobody cares about them, and no, I'm not exaggerating.  They are sometimes referred to as the untouchables and they are not even considered human in India.  They get the most humiliating and disgusting jobs, and if someone of a higher social class touches them, or even their shadow, the person has to go through different processes to clean themselves.  India is supposed to have equal rights for everyone, yet Dalits go without food and clean water.  Check out www.dalitnetwork.org.
