The truth is, Christians can not escape ridicule or conflict. The biblical beliefs we hold dear often seem like foolishness to the unbelievers. defending our faith often draws criticism or anger from listeners. But scripture counsels against keeping quiet or blending in (Matt. 5:14-15). In fact, we are to welcome disagreement as a way to grow our faith. Seek direction and receive strength from the Father throughout your day. Slip away, as Jesus did, and talk with Him. Yes, as believers, we are called to be peacemakers, but that doesn't mean hiding from all who oppose the church. Accept conflict as inevitable and reach out anyway. You may have a powerful impact simply by being being who God called you to be.....His child.
