missional disciple Mission Baltimore students are challenged to first become missional disciples. A missional disciple is an emerging leader that learns to lead himself in communing with God; deepening in character; following God?s unique call; discovering New Testament community; and learning to engage the 21st Century culture. This is accomplished through establishing a personal foundation that consists of discovering one?s purpose for life while learning to practice the spiritual disciplines. In addition, one learns to lead himself in the disciplines of personal communion with Christ through the discovery of the depths of scripture and prayer. One?s foundation is deepened through the discovery of personal spiritual gifts and callings while learning to employ them in the emerging culture. This foundation is enhanced by a personal commitment to scripture memorization that leads one to learn individually to know and fulfill the will of God. The foundation is improved by training locally and abroad by church leaders and ministry veterans.
