A little girl walked to and from school daily. The weather that morning
was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the
elementary school. As the day progressed, the winds whipped up, along
with thunder and lightning.
The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be
frightened as she walked home from school and she herself feared that
the electrical storm might harm her child. Following the roar of
thunder, lightning, like a flaming sword, would cut through the sky.
Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the
route to her child's school. As she did so, she saw her little girl
walking along, but at each flash of lightning, the child would stop,
look up and
smile. Another and another were to follow quickly and with each flash
of lightning, the little girl would look at the streak of light and
smile. When the mother's car drew up beside the child she lowered the window
and called to her, "What are you doing? Why do you keep stopping?" The
child answered, "I am trying to look pretty. God keeps taking my
picture."

Before you read this, I want u all to know that none of these things really happened.  This story is fiction. Now, read on!

    We were studying fire in science class.  We did experiments like molding pots and different kind of pottery.  I was always facinated with fire, so one day I wanted to test it's true ability.  I walked into a forest with a box of matches.  I then went to the the center of the forest and found the tallest tree.  All of a sudden I heard a noise in the distance - a crack.  Then a huge bear walked into my vision.  He then stopped dead in his tracks, not moving at all.  I could tell he was not going to attack, his eyes told it all.  I then noticed that he was staring strait into my eyes, he was focused on me and only me.  I then remembered what I came to do.  I then lit the match.  As soon as I lit it, the bear rose on it's hind legs.  I was then a little scared.  I looked at the tree and rose my hand to one of it's branches.  At that point, a voice echoed through my head, "Only you can prevent wildfires."  I was trying to think where I heard that sentence before.  I then remembered and looked towards the bear, but it was gone.  I slowly looked match, the fire burning brightly, and softly blew it out.  I smiled, it was perfect symbolizm, too perfect.  I did not question it though, God has his own ways of speaking too us.  To me, that was his way.
