Over the years, I've found that certain songs renew my faith, put that prayer warrior fighting spirit back in me, give me courage and strength to get through, encourage when I'm down, or comfort me as I need it. Others do all of these, and help me find my peace by being encouraged to rest in God.

Still others bless me because they remind me that, even when I'm suffering and feeling invisible, God still sees me. He still has a purpose and a plan. And everything will be okay in the end. 

In a nutshell? If all is not well, God isn't finished working yet.

I went on Facebook a little while ago for the first time in months.

NOT going back!! Can't really describe it, except that I'm still in shock, it kinda traumatized me, and I didn't know THAT much drama and hatred could be contained in ONE social site.

Here is SO much calmer and peaceful!

There was once a rich man who was very faithful to God. When it was almost time for him to go to heaven, God told him that it was nearly time for him to come Home.

But the rich man had some things that he wanted to take with him, so he was able to talk God into allowing him to take two suitcases to heaven when it was time.

When it was his time to go, he arrived at heaven's gates with the two suitcases that had been agreed to, but the man could barely lift either one of them. St. Peter met him at the gates and was dying with curiosity to find out what was in them. So he said, "I just *have* to know what treasure you just couldn't leave behind! May I look in your suitcases?"

Grudgingly the rich man opened them up and allowed St. Peter to see what was inside. 

The man had packed both suitcases full of nothing but gold bullion bars. 

St. Peter stared at the contents of the suitcases for a moment in shock and then looked up at the rich man in bewilderment and said, "You brought *pavement*??" 

I first saw Leanna Crawford at a free Christian public concert and fell in love with her music right off. She has a wonderful, cheerful personality, but her faith, compassion, empathy and understanding run deep. 

This song is wonderful to soothe, comfort and strengthen when our souls are suffering or we just need some peace.

A neat fact about this band: They picked their name based on Ephesians 4:29, where it says, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." So their band's mission is to sing songs that "build others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." :-)
