It's Christmas time.... The stable wasn't clean and sparkly, the shepherd's weren't clean and sparkly and we are not clean and sparkly either.... Jesus came for sinners, to cleanse us and save us from our sin and I am truly truly thankful.... The magi were the elite of the East, of babylon and they came to worship. They were incredibly powerful men, they appointed Kings in the East and would have travelled with a very very large enterage... It would have been like an army arriving into Jerusalem. They had no doubt read the records of the likes of Daniel during the time of captivity.... They said they were there for 1 reason, to worship the king of the Jews.... Herod was concerned greatly, he was a puppet king, an edomite..... Now there's a king of the Jews from the line of David on the scene..... Jesus was in their midst, the outsiders came to worship, those living there were largely indifferent and some had a hatred and its no different today..... Christmas is here, it might be neat and clean, it might be sparkly or it might be messy but Jesus came for us all... While we were afar off and while we were yet sinners... Merry Christmas everyone

Psalm 2 English Standard Version The Reign of the Lord's Anointed 2 (A)Why do (B)the nations rage[a] and the peoples plot in vain? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his (C)Anointed, saying, 3 ?Let us (D)burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.? 4 He who (E)sits in the heavens (F)laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. 5 Then he will speak to them in his (G)wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, 6 ?As for me, I have (H)set my King on (I)Zion, my (J)holy hill.? 7 I will tell of the decree: The Lord said to me, (K)?You are my Son; today I have begotten you. 8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and (L)the ends of the earth your possession. 9 You shall (M)break[b] them with (N)a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like (O)a potter's vessel.? 10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. 11 (P)Serve the Lord with (Q)fear, and (R)rejoice with (S)trembling. 12 (T)Kiss (U)the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his (V)wrath is quickly kindled. (W)Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

We know ( and can read online if we choose) that mankind has a utopian ideal.... Everyone equal, fair treatment and justice for all, no one starving, no one left behind etc etc... This sounds like a perfect world, it is a communist agenda and it is man seeking to bring about the kingdom of God, the millennial kingdom on earth but without God, no Jesus, no God. It is the modern day tower of babel, it is the conclusion of rebellion against God.... This is where we are headed....... But the bible says that God sees all this and laughs because it isn't going to Come to pass....... Globally the entire world is being led to produce this idea of utopia, sounds a great place to live doesn't it, it won't happen because of one age old problem, the sinfulness of man........ Global catastrophes are coming, covid the first thing in order for the global community to push even harder and desire global, united, one world answers. Jesus said, pray this way.... For God's kingdom to come on earth as it is already in heaven....... Man's version is communism, working for the good of everyone on the planet ? God's version is the return of Christ......... The great reset is being pushed because another global problem now is economic collapse....... God pressed the global reset button here ?? and as we head towards man's ideas of equality, justice and fairness etc Jesus is mounting a white horse and His robe is dipped in blood, He has a sword in His mouth and He will bring God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven....... Maranatha

Reading judges 15...... Samson went back to claim the wife that he gave to someone else, taking a goat as reconciliation ( perhaps flowers might have been better lol) but her dad said no..... Samson retaliated and caused trouble for his kinsmen from the tribe of judah from the philistines ( who samson had taken his wife from) the amazing thing is God still gave samson victory and he struck down a thousand philistines with a donkeys jawbone..... God still uses a rebellious man for His purposes..... Samson was a miracle child and God had told his parents He would use him in an amazing way. The point being it is God's faithfulness and sovereignty we recognise in everything.

I have had "rend the heavens" stuck in my head this morning I know it is a rend collective song but just looked for it in the bible. Isaiah 64. I encourage you to go and read it. Verse 1 say o rend the heaven's! That you would come down! This sounds to me very much like Maranatha. The rest of the chapter is about the tug between iniquity and worshiping God has he deserves. V8-9 is a famous verse about God our father being the potter and us the clay. Clay never resists the potter but lets him mould us as he desires. Lets not fight against the potter in this time let him mould us as he desires. That we may be able to stand in the times ahead. My prayer today is O lord rend the heavens and come down that you may find a bride prepared for you!! Have a blessed day.

Amen. Did you know the original meaning for hope is to stretch out a rope/line/cord. As if u r drowning and you stretch out a line for rescue. It is eager anticipation of being rescued (read it in Hosea). That is why rahab was told to tie a cord/line/rope from her window-eager anticipation of rescue from the coming wrath. Interestingly the cord was scarlet/red which reminds me of the blood of jesus, the new covenant he made. The psalms say that Yahweh is that hope (the eager anticipation of rescue and deliverance, the stretched out rope) for the godly. Amazing. That our God would not just love us but that He would stretch out a line of rescue for us dripping with the blood of Jesus!!!!!!!
