Well, Academy's been turning out pretty darn well, and Football has absolutely DRAINED me, and I'm sore in the neck, back, and legs as I type this. But for all it's worth, it's been great. I've made new friends, and the teachers are pretty funny, I ended up missing the bus from Driscoll today and had to catch a ride with one of our coaches, and that ended up being pretty interesting.
Laurel turned up to be here, and I've met red head Isaiah, the guy who got kicked out. Me and this guy Ryan ended up doing duets of "Because I got high" all through our first period this morning, and laughs ensued. My partner who I was working with today all the sudden blurted out, "Dude, your arm hairs should be braided", so she proceeded to draw a braid on my arm with a pen.
Just for a preview at the amount of pain I'm in, I've got athletics every monday and wednesday, in which we run as many laps we can in 15 minutes around Javelina stadium, then run up the stairs to the bleachers. In football, we did 10 suicides the other day, which is basically a 40 yard sprint across a field, in pads and helmets. Beforehand, my coach said "BOY, YOU GOIN TO THE GROUND" when we were practicing tackles, and so, he proceeded to bring me to the ground. I put my warface on afterwards and managed to push him a few feet.
We play John Paul on Saturday, the 23rd of next week, my position is offensive tackle.
So, life is pretty fair right now, and I miss everybody at CLA.
And, in that respect, I want to say, something HUGE is about to happen.
