My Christmas Wish List

As we near to Christmas, I'm sitting down to
write,

and making out my wish list, while there is
still some light.

I've thought about this long and hard for all
of you to see,

because the things i want the most can't fit
beneath a tree.

Though some may think the list to long and
impossible to do,

I guarantee it can be done, if you see it
through.

It will not cost you anything that you can
not afford,

but the joy that it will bring is worth the
cost and more.

The first thing on my wish list is for the
world to see

that love begins within one's heart. There is
no cost it's free.

For each to give of their self to another
soul,

so no one will be lonely in this world
anymore.

The second thing I'm asking for is to share
your extra food

with someone that is hungry, so they can be
full, too.

Not just once, but every time you see that
need arise,

so no one feels the hunger pains when they
sleep at night.

The third thing that I'd like to see is peace
to start to flow.

For it is something to be shared with
everyone you know.

A simple step, decide today that anger won't
abide.

Peace builds up, but hate destroys, and is
started first by pride.

The fourth, and last I'm asking for, is now
to just forgive

anyone that's done you wrong, no matter what
they did.

I know it's hard for some to, do but pain
will soon depart.

People change and walls break down when given
from the heart.

If you want to change the world it must start
within.

It's not about the things we have and hold
within our hands.

We knew these things when we were young, but
time seems to forget.

To start with love within our hearts, there
is no greater gift.

( Remember the most important things in life

are not what we hold in our hands, but what
we hold in our hearts.)

Follow
Many say they love the Lord and will follow to the end ,
but I have a question to ask of you my friend.

Do you now obey him when everything is good ?
And serve him within all your heart like you know you should ?
Do you think about him, each and every day ,
and hunger for his presence, and want to know his way ?
Do you seek to know him in his written word ?
And do you know his voice, when he's talking is it heard ?

Is he first within your life in everything you do,
or is it you just talk to him, so he will see you though?

The days are growing dark my friend and soon
 the time may come,
when this choice must be made if you know Gods son ,

Many now across the world have given up their life,
because they chose to serve the Lord, no matter what the price.
Others have been beaten for speaking out his name.
and many are in prison for serving Christ the king

So when you say you love the Lord and will follow to the end
If you can not follow now ,how will you follow then.
If you truly love him it's time to draw the line ,
and seek him now with all your heart while there is still some time .

 as a hobby i am kind of a small time collector of things that are tied into important Bible events

To our Veterans

United in one voice America was born
standing on the principles that God himself had shown
Built upon the dream of freedom in our land
Paid for with the blood, of those that took a stand

May we always honor you, those who paid the price
fighting for old glory ,protecting all our rights
We would not be here today if were not for you
making all the sacrifices you were called to do

Wrapped in the flag of freedom, held by our veterans hands
Your blood shed to protect us . your oath ,your life,s command

How can we now thank the ones who answered to the call
willing to give life and limb to protect us all
and how can we show honor, to those that paid the price
those that with there final breath ,gave their very lives

Only we the people standing strong as one
can we then bring honor for all that you have done
United as one nation standing firm with pride
holding to God's standers and doing what is right

You have paid the price in blood to live in this great land
now we must walk together for America to stand

Moments

Looking back into the past to things I should have done
and in sorrow life's regrets remember days gone by
fleeting moments forever lost in the sea of could have been
if but youth's wisdom gained came without the price

For each is given a time of life . A time to live and a time to die
And all those moments in between are theirs for them to use

precious is the time we have life's treasure wealth untold
Each moment is a memory that's trapped within our soul
So spend those moments carefully for soon they’ll pass you by
For once their gone You can't go back and change the path of life

Watching From the Mountain

Sitting on the edge of darkness in the calm before storm
Knowing what tomorrow is to bring
Holding on to what's above while looking down below
I see the waters coming to drowned humanity

The earth itself is shaking there's a dull roar in my ears
As I watch the force of evil come to life
Though I myself protected, sitting on this ledge
Many in the valley overtaken by the night

The mountain it is empty not too many people here
Most had never found the will to climb
Not knowing that protection, comes from up above
The valley seemed more comfortable then climbing to the light

The Calm Before the Storm

There is a silence in the air like the calm before the storm
or that moment in battle when each side is facing off and the slightest sound
will invoke war
you do not even what to breath because you know the next movement will bring destruction and the last breath of peace will be taken away

It seems like only yesterday when things were much different
people went about their lives planning for tomorrows that would never come
oblivious to what the future would hold . not knowing that their very days were numbered

yet from the darkness it came . no one even saw it at fist .
and if they did they just thought it was a passing trend
something like so many other times came and went .
never understanding that all they had known was about to change forever

Oh there were some that saw it but like the street preacher wearing the sign that said the end is near that no one ever believed .
They would just shake their heads and laughed to themselves of the crazy man talking of a world of doom

but now it is here . we are standing on the edge of the abyss most not knowing how we even got here and others refusing to see what is staring them right in the face

There is no going back now, we have moved past the point of no return and the writing is on the wall

But again all was foretold many years ago in a book that many ether did not fully believe or they never thought they would see come to pass in their lifetime

The only question now is not if or even when but where
The lines have been drawn the stage is set the army's are gathered
but where do you stand ? with the world or with the Lord

The Child of the King

Who am I?
My father is the King . I was conceived by His Spirit , born though the Son and washed in His blood , I am A new creation with the Spiritual DNA of my Father flowing through my veins .I walk in His authority His words are in my mouth ,And His anointing is strong upon me for His fire fills my belly
He has put His signet ring upon my finger His robe upon my shoulders and his sandals on my feet .
His angels are about me His armor is upon me and i am lead by His will
He has sent me out an ambassador to the nations to proclaim His name to a world that does not yet know Him that His Glory may be seen as a light in the darkness to shine upon the path to their salvation
He is the Creator of all things His name is above all names for He alone is Lord

and me ......I am my Fathers child  .... The Child of The King

True Repentance

Blow your wind upon this nation ,the breath of life into our souls
bring our hearts to repentance ,that our nation be made whole
let all who are called your children ,humbly bow before your thrown
with our hearts contrite and broken with this prayer upon our tongue

Please hear us Lord almighty father. Forgive us for what we have done ,
Cleanse our hearts and change our spirit ,for we have became undone
We beg The lord please have mercy . We repent for our sin
let us not be cast lord from you. Wash us, make us whole again
Light your fire upon your people. Let your spirit take command
Hear our cry Lord and father. Forgive us Lord, please heal our land
