OK so if an agnostic dies and shows up at the pearly gates and seeing that god exists excepts god into there heart, do they get into heaven or do they burn?

in the end, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord..... after death, it doesnt matter

well actually i should have said that after death, it doesnt matter that you say that Jesus is Lord, it doesnt make a difference on whether you go to Heaven or not

After all, Lucifer himself knows very well that Jesus Christ is Lord... The idea of an agnostic confessing his sins at the "pearly gates" and being forgiven and accepted into Heaven is a bit ridiculous. A second too late, to say the least.

Seems ridiculus that a murderer can find Jesus in prison just befor he dies and go to heaven.

seems ridiculous to you but his sins were forgiven... he asked for forgiveness and God forgave him..... actions dont matter.... what you do doesnt matter as long as you accept Jesus and ask for forgiveness.... works mean nothing.... you can do all the good works you want.... but it still wont buy you fogivness..... God does not hear someone who asks for forginess and accepts him and says "No, you committed one too many sins, sorry" no.... he forgives them and accepts them

if he truly repented and truly accepted Jesus.... he would be saved.... god knows their hearts.... he knows if its real or not

so Bob, are you saying that if someone does something wrong against you and they ask you for forgiveness... they fall on their knees.... and offer you everything for forgiveness.... you're not going to forgive them? if you can know their heart and you see that its true, are you really not going to forgive them?
