I saw it and I was pretty disappointed. Now, given, I only watched it because it featured Switchfoot's music, but... Crappy, overly sappy love story. Everyone called it cute and innocent but I found the morality of both leading characters to be questionable, and the fact that everyone received it so well kind of bothered me. I hate Shane West as an actor and neither he nor Mandy Moore seemed very comfortable in their roles. The ending was shameless melodrama contrived to incite tears from impressionable movie-goers. Her rendition of Only Hope was the only real highlight. 3/10

No way!!! The movie is great!!! Given it has some parts....but over all it's a very good movie!! Of course, I love romances...so if you don't like romances don't watch it. But then again it's not overly sappy. But whatever you do don't read the book!!!!

I enjoyed it, but then again I am a girl and we gals seem to enjoy sappy movies like that. Anyone ever seen Love Actually?

I loved a Walk To Remember... and I read the book... COMPLETELY DIFFERENT... but I loved both. It is my mom's favorite movie. And you are right about girls liking sappy stuff.... sorta. I also like horror, action.... fantasy... sci-fi.... etc.

Yeah, it's the same with me. I'd rather sit and watch a horror movie over a sappy one anyday. Oh, and is the book really that different?

The only part I cried on was when Landen goes up to hug his father. That part isn't even sad, it's just it reminds me of me and my father's relationship.:)
