Hey, guys I need lots of prayer....a few weeks ago my fiance foind his dad dead. And since then everything has been downhill for us. All we have been doing is fighting. He got mad at me because I went to Chicago last weekend with the Band and is mad because Im doing a Mission Trip with my church at Ichthus...he cant afford to go so he wants me to skip out on it. Please pray and if you have any advice I could use it.

Just be there for him. I can't imagine finding one of my parents dead. This happened to one of my friends, she and her brother found her mom dead in November. Not only is your fiancee suffering from the grief of a loved one, he is also probably suffering psychologically from finding his father. Other than just being a listening ear, when he wants to talk, don't push it you can pray for him. Anger is just one step of the grieving process (I had to do a project on this for psych last semester). Maybe if he really wants to go, than some financial help could be provided, so he can experience it with you. Getting over losing someone takes time and there will be some good days where he seems back to normal and then all of a sudden something could remind him of his father and he could take a step or two backwards. I'm not a liscensed psychologist so take my advice with a grain of salt if you want. P.S. I'll be praying for you and your fiancee that everything will work out. i am soooo sry...i will pray for you guys and i don't have very much advice but here it is...just try to give him some space while he gets over this...if you have anything to talk to him about i wouldn't confront him rite away...i would try to talk about it little at a time...like, bring it up in a conversation and if he gets angry just tell him that you felt that you guys needed to talk about it and if he thinks that there's a better time to talk about it then he should confront you about it...i'm sry it's not much but rite now that's all i can think of...i will still remember to pray for yall *~Brenna~* P.S. if you have any questions then you can message or email me
