What's everyone's problem with country music? I think it is awesome....

1). I hate twangy, drawling vocals. I'm surrounded by people who couldn't be bothered to speak the English language correctly. It's lazy and it sounds unintelligent. I find that with most popular country sounds I can finish the lines for them the first time I hear the song. It's predictable and boring. Plus, I don't sympathize with farming and all that. I'm a city boy at heart. Like with any genre there are good songs and talented people. I have reaons why country music is okay, too, but you asked what my problem was. That's pretty much it.

I respect that....whatever you like, but yeah I can understand you being a city boy and not liking it. Of course I come from a small country town (By small I mean that my church has about 50 people going to it and it's one of the bigest churches in my town, and my town is mostly all christians. Hehe....we need more peoples) But yeah I am a total country girl, not a dumb one mind you, but I am very country. (If you ever heard me talk you would be able to tell by my accent...but I don't talk like I am a hillbilly.) Oh, and btw yes Johny Cash is defnatly country and he was one of the major country musicians that ever lived and was a great Christian man. (After he got married to June Carter that is) I love most all of his music, and "Walk the Line" is one of the best movies I have ever seen. (And one of the best songs too)
