There are a lot of debates about homosexuality and gay marriage destroying the basic family unit in America, undoing the basic building blocks of civilization and society. I propose that there are much greater problems facing the American family: Divorce Alcohol/Drunkenness Separation from extended family All of which are fed down our throats by the media. What do you think is really the biggest threat to us? And if it's not homosexuality, why are we so fervent about preventing gay marriage when there are much more socially dominant sins trying to destroy us? (Not to say that separation from extended family is a sin.)

I think the media is destroying families. They have some horrible things on the internet and some of the things on t.v. are'nt the greatest.

If certain behaviors like homosexuality are regarded as normal that children who grow up in this lifestlye will be much, much more likely to view homosexality which the BIBLE regards as perversion as normal. : (Note any sexual union outside of marriage is also regarded as pervision.) [color=#FF0000]The other important issue that is so scarcely address is the aggression that homosexuality has aganist Christianity. Gay activists have been leaning on easily brought congressmen to pass a hate crimbs leglislation that would punish Christians who spoke up aganist a gay lifestyle as offenders who committed a hate crime. [/color]Some schools systems have been forcing their views on kindergarden students with books like the king and the king praising the decision of a prince in a CHILDRENS BOOK to marry another man. [color=#000080]There are other issues but the most important issues always involve family b/c society is just a reflection of the families that are contained in it[/color]B)

i think everyday life...all the stuff were exposed to daily.... violence,language,gore, u knw?

I definatly think that pornography and pre-marital sex really screws over a lot of american families. I don't belive in an ideal american family or a perfect family because everyone has their problems but these two issue really screw people over big time. First off, if you've had sex with more than one person you have much greater chance of not being as satisfied with sex in a relationship as with someone else. Also sex bonds people together, and it's an amazingly strong bond, and if you've had that bond with someone two years before you marry them, then a couple years into the marriage you start to have problems and difficulties and you don't have that strong sex bond anymore because it weakens over time. With pornography the more you see the more you expect and that's not what sex is about. The majority of guys who look at porno have a less satifiyes sex life than those who never got addicted to it.
